Location: Greater Milwaukee Area
J.R. Boehlke, Inc. is a landscape, asphalt, and snow contractor founded in 1996. The company works closely with commercial and residential property owners and managers throughout Southeast Wisconsin. J.R. Boehlke entered a new chapter of growth under new ownership in 2023 and now seeks to build upon the strengths of the founding team to further expand the business.
We are seeking multiple Asphalt / Concrete Laborers and Finishers to work on our asphalt and concrete crews. The right individual will be a hard-working team player who enjoys working on a variety of projects and is eager to learn.
Job Responsibilities
- Manual labor including shoveling, brooming and raking.
- Assisting in the forming and finishing of concrete.
- Occasional equipment operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- There are opportunities to work in the winter with our snow removal crews.
Qualifications
- At least one year of asphalt or concrete experience strongly preferred.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong communication skills.
- Physically able to: lift 50 lbs. or more; shovel sand, dirt, gravel, and other material; bend, lift, and walk on uneven or sloped terrain.
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record.
- Valid Commercial Drivers License is a plus.
